On April 20, 2006 we signed an agreement with the State of Hawaii Adopt-A-Highway Program to clean the two-mile section of Kamehameha Highway from Kuilima Bridge to Waialee Bridge (by Crawford Home). Our last clean-up was done on Saturday September 15, 2007 when KFCU friends and family filled numerous trash bags with cans, bottles, rubbish, and other assorted junk. The credit union will be closed one Saturday each quarter for the designated clean-up days and we will post a notice on the office door at least one week in advance.
Ten friends and family members filled trash bags with items collected along a two-mile stretch of Kamehameha Highway on September, 15th.
